This Cookie Policy explains how xonPlus ("we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website and use our services. It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
The Three Categories We Use
These are the same three categories you see in our cookie banner. Analytics and Marketing are off by default and stay off until you turn them on.
- Necessary — always onNeeded for the site to work at all: security, load balancing, and the cookie that remembers your consent choice. These cannot be switched off. Our consent cookie is named
xon_consent, it stores only your category choices and a random identifier, and it expires after 180 days. - Analytics — off until you allow itGoogle Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, so we can see which pages get used and what needs fixing. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so analytics storage stays denied until you opt in.
- Marketing — off until you allow itRB2B, a business visitor identification service that tells us which companies are evaluating xonPlus. It can associate a visit with a business email address. It runs only on our public marketing pages, never inside the product, and it has no access to your account, monitored domains, or breach alerts. The script is not loaded at all unless you allow this category. Full detail and direct opt-out links are in our Privacy Policy.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for several purposes, including:
- To keep the site secure and working, and to authenticate users in the product
- To remember your cookie choices so we don't ask again on every visit
- To understand which pages and features get used, so we know what to improve
- To understand which companies are evaluating xonPlus, on our marketing pages only
We do not run advertising on this site, we do not sell cookie data, and we do not use cookies to build interest profiles for ad targeting.
Cookie Preferences
You choose your categories the first time you visit, and you can change that choice at any time. Rejecting the optional categories does not degrade the site: nothing about how xonPlus works depends on analytics or marketing cookies.

- Using the cookie preferences panel, reachable any time from the footer of every page
- Through your browser settings, which can block or clear cookies entirely
- Via the direct vendor opt-out links in our Privacy Policy

Third-Party Cookies
The third parties that can set cookies through this site are the ones named above: Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) under the Analytics category, and RB2B under the Marketing category. Neither is loaded until you allow its category. Browser tracking protection and most ad blockers will also stop them, and we do not try to work around that.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Cookie Policy on our website.
